Did you know?  Food waste is a global problem, requiring action at all levels of the supply chain.  According to current estimates, globally about one third of food for human consumption is lost or wasted.  The economic and environmental consequences are severe. 

 

Presently three businesses in the Nicola Valley donate regularly to the food bank as a way to help with this problem in our area.   If you own a business or are an individual who would like to become involved in our community please call the Food Bank and speak with Derlanda to discuss this very important topic.
